In fact, 4.5% of all jobs in Rhode Island are arts-related, surpassing a regional figure of 3.5%.

Rhode Island's art sector in general is forecasted to grow by 25.5% through 2012, and more specific occupations have received similar expectations of growth. Interior designers, for example, lead the pack with 21.3%, while set and exhibit designers follow with 20%. Graphic designers will enjoy an increase of 17.7% in job opportunities, as well.
