About: HUMANITIES AND PHILOSOPHY COURSE OFFERINGS The Art programs, designed for students preparing for a professional career in the visual arts, provide four semesters of study toward an Associate of Applied Science or Associate of Fine Arts degree. Students may develop basic drawing, design, graphic design, painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, computer art, and photographic skills. Graduates may transfer to art schools and universities nationwide, including those accredited by NASAD. St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley's Arts and Humanities Department is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
