Introduction: The London Art College, established 1931, is a world leader in the provision of art based Distance Learning programmes. The programmes are written and run in English and the college has students all over the world. Courses are constantly updated and include mainstream programmes for painting and drawing in a variety of media and covering subjects like Landscape, Portraiture and Life. The college also offers more specialist
subjects e.g.. Cartooning, Botanical illustration, Illustrating Children's Books, Animals and Birds, Science Fiction & Fantasy. There is also an excellent History of Art course. On enrolment, students are sent the complete course which is broken down into easy to understand and follow study units. Each student is allocated their own course artist who remains in active touch with them throughout the course to provide advice and
encouragement. The College awards Diplomas or Certificates on most courses offered.

Introduction: This graduate-level certificate program provides an intensive examination of American fine and decorative arts in their cultural and social contexts, including their European and Asian antecedents. Introduction: Working Men’s College houses one of the oldest Art Schools in London. Located in historic buildings in Camden Town, one of the most culturally vibrant areas of Central London and a focus for art and artists from the latter years of the19th century to the present day, it is an exciting and stimulating place to study. Our Access to Art & Design Course rated among the most successful in the country, specialises in preparing students (19+) for entry to the most prestigious Art Colleges in London and beyond. The course offers Full, Part Time and Evening study.
The great news this year is that with the introduction of our broad-based Foundation Degree in Professional Practice in Art and Design (Fine Art, Illustration, Communication Design) students will be able to pursue their studies within the college at Degree Level.
